Hi, I am Rebecca Hicks.

I am the owner of Rebecca Hicks PDX Photography. I live in SW Portland with my family (husband, two daughters, two cats and one dog). In addition to photography I love to walk, read, cook, travel, camp and spend time with family and friends.

Since I was a young girl I have loved photography. On family vacations I always had a camera in my hand (except the time I accidentally left it on a bench in DC - yikes!). This love flourished when my girls were little. I tried to capture their moments from huge, first day of Kindergarten, to small, toddler hands drawing.

As they grew I took the leap and started my own photography business. I work hard to personalize each session. Face it, no two families are exactly the same and thus each session is unique. What IS the same is my dedication to you. I truly enjoy getting to know my clients. I find myself texting after a session to see how the soccer game went or what college their child picked.

I believe in making memories that last while having a genuine and fun experience. I strive to make clients happy and relaxed while creating an environment where you are encouraged to laugh, play and be yourselves. I promise to bring the silly, the calm, and the fun. I look forward to working with you!
